New Cooper Pics

    So, here are a few pics of the new Cooper M52 in 300 Win Mag. I really like the additional character in the wood. Scope should be in next week--VX3L 3.5x10x50. 160 rounds of ammo in house... Can't wait for barrel break in.

    I was talking to a guy at the range last week who was breaking in his new cooper .308 Win. He said the accuracy was amazing, but he was in the process of breaking it in. He said he ran 70 patches on the first round of his cleaning/break-in routine before they xcame through clean!! Nice gun for sure, but I dont need the accuracy. I dont have patience to pull 70 patches through it!!

    That is definitely a gorgeous rifle. congrats. I just noticed that you're in austin. I live in south austin myself and shoot out at ARC. You?

    BTW, did you go to the Citadel? my buddy worked on campus for almost 10 yrs

    That is one nice rifle. I don't want to be around if that falls off the bench !! Have a great time breaking it in.

    TC--actually in northern Virginia but moving back to Austin late summer...renewing ARC membership will be a top priority when I get back. And yes, I did go to The Citadel.
