I took my newest New Frontier to the range this morning. This gun I recently got from GunBroker. Nice gun, but trigger is HEAVY! It feels like its around sixteen pounds!

Despite the awful trigger pull, still shot pretty good:

Would like to see what it can do with a lighter trigger! Definitely a keeper.

Nice shooting, both the revolver and you! That must have ben a satisfying target to retrieve. Wish I could do that well on purpose. ;)

Very nice. How is the hammer spring? I have a 2nd Gen SAA that came with a hammer spring strong enough for a Mack Truck. A heavy hammer spring can make trigger pull heavier, but I'm sure you knew that.

As to the hammer spring, think leaf springs from a Model T Ford.

Well, at least ya won't get any light strikes with that one.

    Beautiful Colt you have there.

I wonder if someone fanned it and broke off the tip of the sear.

    .

Nobody in their right mind would try to fan a New Frontier, if you value the meat on the edge of your hand. (Look closely at the reat sight) Not a Colt, but a Ruger, same hand grater.

The gun looked unfired when I got it.
