My M64-3 has its original magna grips but they are too small for comfortable shooting. Its been wearing rubber grips for a while now but I finally decided to dress her up a bit. I got these grips off Ebay. They are made in Thailand. I have no Idea what kind of wood they are but it is hard and has nice grain. The grips fit really well and in fact are quite snug fitting. The checkering is well done too. I think they were well worth the $43 I spent for them

Nice. How do those feel compared to a set of Hogues?
I have no idea. The backstrap is exposed with these so it doesn't add any length to the trigger. They are bigger than the stock magnas but smaller than a S&W target grip and fit my hand just right

Nice looking grips; sort of like a modified version of the S&W target stocks. Seem to be well made and don't see how you could go wrong at that price.

They are very snug fitting and you can barely see the seam where the 2 halves meet on the bottom. They are similar to S&W Target stocks but are just a bit smaller which is fine for me. Last year I got these stocks, also from Thailand for about $40 and put them on my 686

I like those the ones on your 686 as well! Typically I have Pachmayr grips on my 686 (Presentation or Gripper style), but I would prefer wood grips if I could find a pair that fit me better than the factory target grips that came with it.

That's a georgous weapon. I keep my eyes peeled for a Model 64 in that condition, but still haven't come across one for a good price.

I got my M64-3 about 4 years ago. I responded to an area online ad, met seller and was able to get it for $300. It had the original PC Magna grips with it. If I could find more like it today for that price I would buy a half dozen
