I have a revolutionary gun design that I am trying to sell.
Here are some details about the gun, you tell me if you would want to buy it.
This gun has decent ergonomics, with a good grip angle and decent bore axis, decent but nothing to brag about compared to some other models on the market.
It has a simple yet very good trigger and sear design that with a trip to the gunsmith and a couple hundred dollars can be made to be quite nice.
It is fairly large and heavy and pushes the limits of concealability in barrel length and grip length but it is very narrow. It shoots a relatively formidable cartridge but is limited in capacity to about 8 rounds.
Factory sights are dreadful but for an upcharge there are good aftermarket sights available or you can send it to a gunsmith for installation of aftermarket sights.
It is fairly accurate from the factory but with a match barrel and several hundreds of dollars worth of gun smith work it can be made to be very accurate.
The fit and finish will be mediocre from the factory with many sharp edges that you can cut yourself on but with a trip to the smith for a de-horn job and a re finish it can be smoothed out for carry.
Machining will be mediocre and some parts of the gun may be machined incorrectly or may rub on parts of the gun that they shouldn't be rubbing on but a trip to the smith and a couple hundred dollars can fix that.
The factory magazines for this gun are decent but somewhat fragile and unreliable, but with fairly good aftermarket magazines available at 25 to 35 dollars a piece you can just buy some better magazines to increase reliability.
This gun will require a 500 round break in period to test reliability which may or may not result in positive results. You may have to send it back to the factory or to a gunsmith for adjustments and parts replacement or tuning to ensure reliability.
It may or may not be very picky about which ammunition you feed it. Some types of HP ammo may or may not feed properly.
This gun will sell for between 500 and 1500 dollars depending on options but price will not necessarily reflect the quality of the machining or assembly work. If you want potentially bypass the gunsmithing work you can pay between 2000 and 3500 though that may still require a trip back to the factory for some tuning, and if you want an example of this gun that is truly representative of your status in this world 4000 to 5000+ will get you a very nice example that most normal people would be affraid to take out in public or even touch.
