this is my Taurus Tracker 4" in 357. I've put about 300 rounds of .38spl through it so far. No problems with it so far.

Hey scndactive...Thats a TAURUS 1911? Those must be aftermarket grips then...B/C I thought Taurus was a South American company...maybe I'm wrong I don't know lol, but it looks nice and rugged!

The 1911 shown is not a Taurus - the revolver is however.

That's a nice looking revolver, migz. Between the porting, the mass of the barrel/underlug and the grips, it seems like it would be a real soft shooter.

How would you compare its recoil to other revolvers of similar size and caliber?
