    Hi fellas ,
New guy to the forum with a scopemount question .
I've recently bought a Springfield 87M .22Lr semi that is D/T'd on the side of the ( rounded) receiver . ( same as the Stevens 87 series )
This rifle was made to mimic a M1 Garand for the civilian market.
I'm trying to scope it but I'd like to see a side mount to continue the M1 likeness in sniper mode.
I've altered a ( G5 ? ) mount that is attached to an old Weaver J2.5 by shaping and turning it backwards to the receiver . I've got a secure fit but I'm very limited to the type of scope and my J 2.5 has seen much better days.
Does anybody know of such a mount that will sit the scope off to the left ?

    Thx . ;)
