Ummmm....Harbor Freight tools is a good place to get a decent, inexpensive handgun or rifle safe. Sometimes Wal-mart will have them as well.

I'm sure one can be ordered from their websites.

Stack On sells security cabinets that are thin metal and have lockable doors for a reasonable cost. Google them and look for who sells them in your area. they should be reasonably easy to find for less than $100 locally. They are usually for multiple firearms and when yours gets lonely there will be a spot for more. Or you could get a bar that is fastened to a closet wall and they are secured and can,t easily removed google is your friend again but this type may be shipped inexpensively as well.

Folks, he is posting from Bangladesh. I am not sure Harbor Freight has a store there.

Your best bet might be to order something and have it shipped in, though that may be costly. Check your local hardware stores or sporting goods stores and see what they have or can order for you.

Another vote here for Stack-On cabinets, like this one:

However, I don't know about their availability in your country. I checked Amazon India, and they seem to have only the pistol cabinets. You might want to check AliBaba, which is a China-based web commerce company that does business all over the world. Here's a sample search from their site -- note that a lot of the listings are for bulk orders and not for sale of individual units:

First, welcome! A simple idea is the easiest to do. Do you have a plain metal locker, like what is at a bus station or school, designed for coats? Take that, bolt it down to something very solid in the house. Like the frame through the wall finish. Then, take a steel coated cable or coated chain and again, bolt that down inside the locker, place it through the action of the rifle and padlock it.

So then you will have a plain looking clothes locker that when opened you have a jacket hanging over a padlock rifle.

I don't know if you're looking to protect the gun from burglars or just from your kids. If its just to keep the kids away from it you could try a basic gym locker as shown in this link. I wouldn't buy a new one but you can usually find used ones for sale at businesses and schools.

Not exactly in our neck of the woods. Not knowing what is available there makes it hard for me to recommend a specific product. OP, the school locker with a padlock sounds like a reasonable idea; bit that would depend on what laws might be involved in your country.
