Okay guys I got reffered here by another member who belongs to a flying forum -- Very nice site I see your using the same technology that we are using on another gun forum I moderate.

Lets see so you have a background on me I have been collecting for 20 years and have near 80 toys. I have my C&R and build tons of customs out of the Turk Mausers and I also own an ammo company.

The new guy buys El Tejon sushi! At least I think that's what they say. :scrutiny:

Welcome to THR, new friend. :)

    Ok...

New guy schleps the targets downrange, buys the ammo and chills the 'liquid refreshements' for when the shootin' is done...

    :D :D :D

P.S. Welcome, Shaun. You will see enlightening and sometimes spirited debate, along with a depoth of knowledge and experiences you simply cannot find anywhere else.

I am an older shooter/hunter/[insert other stuff here], and I consider it a poor day for me when I dont learn 2 or 3 new things from this forum.

Great to have you here, Shaun.

Could you tell us more about your ammo company and custom projects? Just general stuff so we knew what questions to ask when we need expertise.

Standard rule is that new guy buys ammo and beer. But it looks like you've at least got the first one covered.

Make mine .45 ACP and .30-06, with a side order of Guinness. ;)

    Miko

I have many projects that have finished recently such as conversions from H&R Shotguns to rifle calibers(357 Max, 33 win, 32-40wcf, 307 win, 38-55 wcf, 45-70 gov and currently looking at a 30-40 Krag). I have also worked on projects such as converting P14 enfields into 375 H&H mag's, 416 Rigby's and now I am looking at turning two MK1 #3's into 7mm Nitro's.

As to the ammo I specialize in Obsolete calibers but support all the common ones as well -- when I say I run a company I mean everything we manufacture and reman.

My current project is actually working on getting extremely proficient in my new found love of flying and working on the small things in the plane I just bought

    Welcome Shaun,

Make mine .454Casull and some Barqs rootbeer. I figure if you have your own ammo company, you'd have contacts to get the expensive stuff at a discount.

    Welcome.

I used to visit Ashland City running back and forth to Clarksville/Paducah, but didn't know there was an ammo manufacturer there.

Really now? Well, since the new guys always buy ammo and beer......I'll take the best .308 you got, in high volume :D . I don't drink, I'm underage, so someone else can have my brew.

    Shaun,

    Welcome aboard.

If you're free this Saturday, some of us will be at the Cheatham Range around 12-ish. Come on out and have some fun. I'll be the guy driving the blue '05 Tacoma, with my screenname on the plates. If you're on the range when we get there, I'll be the guy with the Rem700PSS, M14, AR, AK, and tricked-out 870.

    Hope to see you there.

    Frank

Frank If I am not out working with Cross wind landings I might come on out -- PSS nice I looked at one of those once but bought the VSSF in 308 turns out I made the better choice as I outshot all the other guys on the department who had the PSS -- the only difference is the fluted barrel draws heat away faster and the barrel stays rigid. -- You may have seen me out there I usually show up with one of my big toys 375 H&H the last time I was there along with a couple of Muzzle blasters.
