New member

Hi. I'm new and really glad I found this site. I am currently waiting on my FFL so I can expand my business into selling new guns as well as the private sales I already do. I am also learning how to duracoat and have recently become a cerified firearms instructor. I have long been into guns but have just this year turned that into a business. My main love is the AR-15 platform but I am also very into handguns and all things concealed carry related. From the few threads I have read through I know you folks have a lot to offer in the way of new knowledge and skills so thanks in advance!

I'm a USAF vet (1967-1971) and I spent most of my adult life in Africa, Asia and the Middle-East. working on airplanes. I'm disabled now (lungs gave out) but still enjoy anything related to guns & hunting.

Hey, A&P living in St. Maarten/St. Martin for 21 yrs. Shoot BP mostly as my others are really not legal. We actually have more gun freedom than you Yanks. We quit listening to the states propaganda about your freedom yrs. ago.

My name is John, retired after 32yrs service in the Army. Gun laws are tight (and prices expensive) in Ireland so my guns are all .22 calibre; CZ Kadet, Ruger 10/22 and CZ 452 Magnum. Not fanatical, but have a great interest in rifled firearms.

Hello all. I live in Western Colorado and enjoy the excellent hunting and fishing opportunities. Frankly, I'm looking forward to finding a flame free firearms board.

Hello, I just joined today. I am relatively new to this compared to many of you. I have been shooting a few years but only started to get interested in this topic within the last couple of years. I am looking for a conceal carry handgun and thought here was a good place to look. My husband (Axellarson), has been a member here for years and pointed me to this site for advice.

New Member!

:)Hi new to the club. But I have been following as many threads as I can. They are all very interesting. I am a new owner of a S&W 642, got mine a couple of weeks ago. My other revolver is a mod 10-8 4" Smith. I lover that gun! I have never fired a snub-nose 2" or less, and am looking forward to trying my new 642 soon.
I am a NRA member and a 24 year retired Army& Air force retiree. (Tahitian.ted)

Good morning HighRoaders,

New guy here. Not just to the forum, but to shooting in general. I started with Ruger 10/22 to become comfortable with guns, as I wasn't fortunate enough to be around them in my youth. After much research, including reading up here, I am pleased to say I have graduated to my first handgun a Beretta Nano. I plan to take CCW courses and carry the gun concealed in a responsible way.

new member here, amature gun smith and collector. I have built and dramatically customized several guns so far including sks ak ar15 1911 870 whatever i can get my hands on. I consider myself a budget or practical collector because of my pitiful teacher's salary.

So greetings from the buckeye state. I'm thirty somthing, with a wife and three children. I joined this site to gain knowlegde mostly. Being a father, and owning firearms carries a lot of forethought, and well...safty to say the least. The firearms I own are a bit diverse,..there is a 1953 win. model 52 heavy bbl, which I badly need sights for. A 9mm HI-Point 995, a SA stoger/ubriti .357 1873 Cattleman, a Savage 1917 .32 auto, a .32 Secrect Service Special (unknown manufactorer), and a saiaga ak-47. I found this sight when i googled, "how to improve the accuracy of an ak-47".The next firearm i wish to purchase would be a 1911 Springfield in .45 acp. Im thinking probably the XDs single stack. That seems like it would fit my wifes hands very nicely. Or if i get my way,.. the Range Master :) Thank you, J.D.W.

Hi, I am Johann Buys from Port Elizabeth in South Africa. I am a ex-cop with 20 years service. I now work as a Firearms Trainer(getting paid by the cops to train the cops) and also work in a gun shop.I am an IPSC shooter and avid collector of all things that go bang in general and guns specific.

And no, I have no fear of people tracing me to my home and doing me harm. If they do trace me to my home with the intent to do me harm, they should please remember to bring a gun. It is so "un-sporting" to shoot an unarmed villain. Oh yes, I am also known for the fact that I do not get "Political Correctness" If I offend, it was not the intent.

My name's Chris. I'm partial to tactical weapons, although I'm still on the fence about which one to buy. I was browsing around looking for reviews on guns and came across this site and decided to sign up.

Nu Be

I am a new member (NU BE). I love to reload, shoot, smoke meat, hang with my children and grandchildren w/ my wife by my side. I have a CCW and I carry (everywhere but church-which is also important to me). I work as a drilling consultant in North Dakota on oil & gas wells - I'll try to keep the lights on until they find a better way.

Thanks

Hello

Hello everyone.

I am a new member here so let the hazings begin lol. Jk

I am an avid shooter from the St Charles MO area. I have no military or government background. My firearm interests include long guns, hand guns, tactical weapons, plinking, target shooting, and home/self defense. I normally shoot at the August Bush range every weekend, and Ultamite Defense when the weather does not permit for outdoor shooting. I own a custom Colt AR-15 (modified old M-16 style), Remington 887 Nitro Mag Tactical, Glock 19, & my trusty Ruger P97. Been shooting since I was a kid. Not much into hunting, just more of the hobby and protection side that really interest me.

I really like the input and the members on here from what I have read so far.

Glad to be aboard. All questions and comments welcome.

Thanks.

Hi folks, I am currently living in Utah, I like shooting and am getting more and more into doing my own work on firearms thought this forum would be real usefull.
