Hello, Just trying to get my feet wet and take a dip in the gunpool here.Have seen a lot of good advice and conversation here.Been perusing you folks for about 6 months.I shoot Ruger P95s,P97,and the ruger ranch rifle.I also shoot Taurus Mill. proPT 111,and various Taurus revolvers. Figure I'm taking a chance here ,what the heck. IDPA and pin shooting are a blast.Spent 20 years working in the USAF AND retired for now.Have a son and daughter new to shooting and they are a little shy,but I'll get them there.Thought I'd shoot a real center fire rifle since the military decided to use.22 rimfire adaptors to train us ground pounders on the M16.Fueled fighters while they were being rearmed. Interesting times.Remember, all war stories start with this: There I was.30,000 of them and only me with the jawbone of an a--. Or,This is true story,no lie.So with out taking up more space and time I'll peruse some more.Chow for now.

Hey ! Welcome !

And thanks for your service ! I've ended up with three Taurus revolvers myself over the last couple years. So far, no complaints and I have grown rather fond of my little Titanium Model 731 in .32 Mag for pocket carry.

Thanks much for the warm welcome.Think the .32 Mag is a good choice. Afraid I can't say I have much experience with it . Only shot someone elses.A Ruger at that .Definetely fun. Has a lot of advantages over larger calibers.
