New Over/Under, fit question

I've been bitten by the skeet bug and I have been shooting a Rem 1100 20 Ga with 26" barrel. I have been wanting to get a O/U for not too much money...soooo...I picked up a Stoeger Conder Competition Combo 12/20Ga with ported barrels, 12 chokes and adjustable cheek pad. I know it's not the top of the line O/U. I've done some searching and it appears those that have one like it especially for the price. My question is how to setup/fit the adjustable cheek pad to fit me best? Any help here would be appreciated.

Best would be a seasoned shooter to assist.
Note that often times changing platforms, just feels funny, even if both guns fit.

Unload gun, check thrice.
Mirror.
Close eyes and mount gun to face thrice, and on the third time, open eyes and looking into mirror, your eyeball should be seen looking straight down the rib.

LOP, Cast on, Cast off, Drop at Comb, Pitch, ...affect fit.

Just mount the gun, make sure it is well nested in your shoulder and let your head rest on the stock. Your eye should be aligned with the sight on the barrel.
