    New Purchase: SA 85m

I am relatively new to the forum and firearms in general. My first rifle purchase was a Yugoslavian SKS; I love that gun, but I also wanted to make my next purchase a rifle of the detachable magazine category. I went to the Tampa Gun Show today- opened at 8:00 am and I was in line witnessing guys wheeling out hand trucks of ammunition by 8:10. The prices in general were very reflective of the current pricing trends.

I spotted this SA 85m and I found it a very handsome gun. The black finish is 99%+ and the wood is a nice blonde color. It was offered at $850 in 'like new' condition; this gun is flawless and spotless. I offered $700 and the seller accepted. It was not sold with any magazines though! Steel AK magazines were almost non-existent at this show; I settled on 5 PRO-MAG composite magazine @ $15 each and I was able to find a 40 round mag.

Does anyone know of a matching beechwood pistol grip/stock set? I would like to put this to pistol grip and either a wodden stock or perhaps a folding style stock.

Becareful with the 40 rounder. Some states (Mine) limit high capacity mags at 30 or 31 (Except .22lr) I dont know about Flordia, but you might check.

    Otherwise, looks good
