Those guys blow me away. I just bought a new P229 (3 mags) from them for $675 with free shipping. That deal disappeared real fast but I was lightning quick.

I don't know, but if it came with that Ruger I'd probably put it on a handgun of mine instead of the PCC.

Yes, I have one on a MKII. Good red dot with replacement warranty. Actually, if I were going to put a dot on, it would probably be that one. It's a $200 sight if you buy it separately. That's a winner.

A regular retail customer reported a walk-in purchase at Kentucky Gun Company on Wednesday afternoon and posted a short report from a quick range visit on Thursday morning (136 rounds and "Zero malfunctions").

22 Plinkster put up a video review a couple days ago.
There are a lot of videos out on this now, I won't post the links, but Tim from Military Arms Channel shot hollowpoints from the Korean mags, he shot steel-cased ammo from SGM mags.. He didn't have any malfunctions.
I have two 33 round Korean mags, they had some teething problems but they seem to be functioning OK in my Glocks now. I'd like to use those, at least for the range with this Ruger carbine.

I saw that, and wondered if he hadn't read the instructions. According to the manual that was previously posted it takes down just like the 10/22 and you shouldn't fool with the adjustment ring.

I think what that is telling us is that the American pistol has been a commercial failure. I seems to be more rugged and professional grade than the SR but it hasn't led to increased sales. The SR still outsells the American by a wide margin.

Unfortunately, the American Pistol has the weirdest styling on a gun I've seen in a long time. The SR is downright incredibly good looking in comparison.
Or a Glock 26 or a Glock 19
Totally a personal preference issue, but I like defensive handguns to have either a DA trigger or a manual safety.
