Well, I'm still waiting for mine to be shipped from the distributor, so I haven't actually saw one in any detail. If anyone owns one and has some pictures, I would like to see them. Maybe they will tide me over till I can actually lay hands on my own.

    I have taken some!

I have taken some, I have been trying to get my camera to work with my computer at home. No luck yet. I'll post when I do.

However, there are some great pictures at Jeff's site here: www.gunblast.com/Ruger-Redhawk4.htm

I shot mine for the first time last weekend. What a marvelous machine! You won't believe the trigger on this thing. It is better than my old SW 629 by a long shot!

If you can still find the Ruger annual (shooting Times) on store shelves, there are pictrues of the new four inch with wood grips (p.36). However, the new Hogue Bantam grips are superb! I have small hands and the fit me almost better than the Hogue monogrip for my SP101.

I ran 240's, 270's 300's and Corbon 305 HC without a hitch through it. I really wish the backstrap was covered, but I was suprised that I didn't feel any pain with the heavier loads.

Ruger will have a huge demand for these guns if they have not already.

God Bless and Good Shooting when you obtain it.

    Porter

This sounds familiar. Bet it's not as tough as taking down and putting back together a Ruger .22LR auto! That ain't like falling off a bike, exactly.
