Just tried out a new Ruger. Beautiful blue finish, very smooth.
Velocities topped out at about 103mph which is pretty good for me.

BTW, it was a golf club. A driver head actually. Seems Ruger is in the
casting business and they're now making components with the Ruger
name on them. Salesman said they didn't yet have a headcover with
    integral holster for CCW.

And I really liked the feel of it as well. Didn't get a price.

From what I've read, they've been in the casting biz for years. Apparently, the casting technique they use for their guns is/was quite revolutionary. They've applied it to other markets. They make other things, but for some reason, only the golf clubs come to mind.

    10,
Naw, I was there doing something called Shaftlab which is supposed
to be a new way to determine proper shaft flex for your swing. I was
pretty much focused on shafts that day and I still like my Taylor 320
even if it isn't the "hot new thing". OTOH, if I had been driver shopping
it would have gotten serious consideration.

Too cold to shoot or hit balls right now anyway.:(

Hehe, something about being on the Tee Box with a Driver that say's Ruger in my hand instead of TaylorMade or Titlest, hits me like having a Titlest .44 Mag Revolver in my hand w/ white dimpled grips.

    COOL!

No offense, but I've never thought of myself as being old enough to take up golfing! :D With Ruger in the biz, I may be tempted now.
