It's the muzzle flash. Helps if you stand behind the gun when shooting it.

I get a black out when purchasing a new firearm also. Could it be the rush that I'm feeling wanting to taking it to the range to break it in? or,... Could it be my wife hitting my head with my new purchase? because the money was suppose to be used on something else?
