From what I gather from their webpage, yes. For example, one of the features listed for the bolt action B17 F Compact in 17 HMR is a 10 shot rotary magazine. The self loading A17 also features a 10 round rotary magazine.

The Savage B Mag Series, which is chambered for the 17 WSM, uses an 8 round rotary magazine.

I have the B Series Savage bolt action that uses the rotary magazines. Never a hiccup feeding. FUN RIFLE!
Deadly accurate, zero recoil, flat shooting, and a hoot to shoot. More expensive than 22 long rifle, but I’ll trade the cost for the added range and accuracy.

Well, I pulled the trigger on this one today. $ 259.00 for the rifle $129 for the Nikon 4 x 12 BBC scope at Rural king. 20180825_155039.jpg

My first .17 HMR got me hooked on the cartridge. It's a Henry Golden Boy, so I saw a used Savage just as described in the op; laminate thumbhole stock with accutrigger and target barrel. When my father passed a couple of years ago, I inherited a Taurus Tracker in .17 HMR also. Pretty fun revolver!

Happened to be shopping at Wal Mart this morning and naturally wondered off to the sporting goods section while my wife went about her mundane chores buying groceries etc. While having the .17HMR on my mind I naturally asked the good natured feller behind the counter if he had any in stock. Well low and behold he had one in the Savage 93r17hmr exactly like Charliefrank's pictured, but without the scope. I noticed a $199.00 price tag on it, and the rest is history. They only had one box of .17 HMR CCI V-Max in 17grn, so I bought it. Took it home and placed some Weaver rings on it, and thought I had a scope laying around here somewhere, but danged if I could find it. Plan on going up to UP Michigan next Saturday so I'll be taking that along to try out once we get up there. BTW he had a box of Winchester 20grn .17 that had a muzzle velocity of 3000fps, but he stated they wouldn't shoot in that new gun.

BTW, I've got quite a few rifles in everything from .22RF -45-70, but the only thing I've ever fired, in a 17 caliber, is a 177 pellet rifle. From what I've heard here on this forum they are a real treat to shoot and they are unbelievably accurate out to 200 yards.

So I made a trip to the range this morning. What a blast this was to shoot. Once I got sighted in I was shooting 5 round groups that were one ragged hole at 100 yards. Absolutely no feeding problems. The accutrigger is set at 2 1/2 pounds. It definitely prefer ed the Hornady ammo over the CCI ammo. Both were 17 grain. There wasn't a lot of difference between the two ammo's. The Hornady shot smaller groups. While shooting I spotted a clay pigeon stuck in the berm next to my target. I was amazed, the little bullet went right through without shattering the bird. This little rifle is a ton of fun and I can't wait to take it in the woods this fall.

That should be a blast!

Wow, what a great price. Your going to love it

We've got a ton of possum, coon, squirrel, armadillo. Can't wait to see the terminal performance of this little cartrdge.

Should be pretty impressive. If your gonna eat the squirrels you may want to go to shoot them in the head, or go to the 20gr sp, or fmj, just to keep them from exploding.
I remember Stingers opening a pretty big hole in the squirrels that were around my uncles place...when he hit them, and the .17s much more destructive than a Stinger. Those high velocity .17s make small stuff explode, cans of water are a blast at the range.

Hahaha. I still hunt squirrel with stingers. Have always been a head shot guy. Too tasty to waste. Yeah I can't wait. Feel like a kid with his first rifle, which is ok as I don't get to feel that way much anymore.

I may just have to buy a .17 HMR barrel for my CZ 455. The .22 mag is cheaper to shoot, but ammo isn't as accurate as I'd like. Don't really need it, since I have three .223 bolt guns that shoot 1/4 MOA with the right handloads. Maybe I can resist the urge?

I paid $13.99 for the Hornady. Probably get it slightly cheaper at wally world. Other than my 22's it's still cheaper to feed than my others.

Literally just got an email from Midsouth supply, 200rnds 17hmr for 34 bucks.

I honestly don't know if that's a good price for the mainland or not.

Loon Wulf, $34.00 is a great price, as Wall Mart had a box of 200 for $50.00, not sure which brand I know they came in a yellow and red box Aguilar? maybe? Anyway I didn't want quite that many until I can find out which brand it will shoot best.

I had a cheap Mossberg intl ($75 new kinda cheap) bolt action that was very very accurate. Not the gun I wanted, so I sold it with intention to buy a Mako or a 917. Neither of those materialized. I still want one, but the usefulness just doesn’t work for me. I wounded a couple coyotes with it but they didn’t drop, and on squirrels it would mess them up REALLY bad. If I were in pdog land or had a chuck problem I would probably consider one again.

Bit the bullet and ordered a new .17 HMR Varmint Fluted barrel for my CZ455. Hated to do it, but the money from a recent sale of a Marlin 39A was burning a hole in my wallet. Including delivery, it was $181. Never thought I'd do it and will have to melt-out locktite to install the new one, but it should be cool-looking. It should shoot better than .22 WMR. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything will work out. BTW, it comes with a new magazine and installation tools.

Now I have to find out which 17 cal ammo shoots best. And have to buy a darned 17 caliber cleaning rod and tiny G-darned. patches. See what you guys are doing to me?
