Just got back from Cabela's with a pre-owned Savage 11 in 308. The rifle still has the tags hanging off of the trigger guard and appears to be unused. It is pre-accutrigger. Got it for $299. Just needed a rifle for deer and possibly a bear hunt and this fits the bill. It must have been a package rifle as it has the Bushnell scope that the Savage guns come with.

I've had one of the "package 11's" in .243 for several years. Good shootin rifle. You got a good deal. Enjoy the .308--it will take most anything on this continent!

I'll bet it is quite precise too.

    Congrats on the new rifle.
