A couple weeks ago, I called Ruger to see if they would be offering a combo version of their existing 17HMR. The person I spoke to said they had no current plans to do so. I told her I'd buy one tomorrow if they made it.
Well, yesterday, Ruger announced on the website that they have the Single Six Hunter Model in 17HMR with and extra 17M2 cylinder.
I called Ruger this morning to see when they would be available. I spoke to the manager of the department that would be in charge of selling to dealers and was told Ruger doesn't have such an animal. I told the person they had better look at their own corporate website.
Anyway, here is the link with the specs; http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/News-11-11-2004A.html
I'll be buying one as soon as I can order it.
