We never had to retreat in Texas. In short this is just clarifying the law and makes a justified shooter immune fron civil action. Should be that way everywhere!

Why should anyone have to retreat? If you are up to no good then you deserve what you get!

Honestly, that fact that this statement has to be made doesn't speak well for the US IMHO. That is one statistic I am not upset about.

I'm pretty sure we have a higher rate of executions than the entire rest of the country combined; laws like these are reminders of why I love/stay in Texas, and you people are the reason I feel like I understand how things work here; When someone threatens your right to live, they forfeit theirs: simplicity that many states fail to grasp.

I guess we could issue a VISA to an Al-Reuters Investigative Journalist and allow him/her to enter Sovereign Texas Soil to confirm the existance of these unknown up until now Free People. The "reporter" is rather incredulous about Texas and it's Gun Owners. I sure am glad I live here! The truth be known most are "GUNS" owners.:D :neener:

And, if you do the crime here in Texas, you will pay the price.:what:   :fire:

Like ol' Tater Tot said, "We got an Express Lane here in Texas" for Death Row.

Tater Tot would be an alias of Ron White, for those that don't appreciate and are not familiar with the fine highbrow humor of the trio of good ol' boys that comprise the Blue Collar Comedy Tour...

    Git 'er done...:D
