New (to me) Dan Wesson .41 Magnum

    Finally got to take some not so good pictures of my most recent .41 Magnum purchase. It is a Dan Wesson .41 Magnum with an 8 inch barrel. The finish is overall very good, except for a large scratch on the right side, as can be seen in the photo. The barrel also has to spots of light rust on the right side. I paid $399.00 before taxes. Now to save up and order a 4 inch barrel for it. Even with the loooong barrel it balances nice. I just do not have a use for the 8 inch barrel at this time. I think it was a good deal since I can change the barrel to what I want.

    As has been stated, "The thread is no good without pictures". Even bad ones.

    You lucky dog. I would be happy to have that even with the scratch at that price. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do my six inch Model 15 in 357.

    chiefthunderstruck, do you have other barrels or just the 8 inch for your .41 Magnum?

    You talkin to me? The name's ChiefThunderstick. It's a .357 magnum. Look at the thread in the link and see for yourself. The long barrel is 8.75 inches.:)

    Hopefully in a few days I will be able to join you. After several years of searching I finally found a DW in .41 magnum.
    Congrats on your find as they seem as rare as hen's teeth.
