Traded for this one today. A mid 1970's model 27-2, with 6" barrel and counterbored cylinders. Never dreamed I would own one.

    Have a blessed day,

    Leon

Very nice! I have a 6 inch Highway Patrolman, but a nice M27 is on top of my list. Preferably a 3.5 inch, with a 5 inch next in line

I've felt the same way myself a few times with a new gun. It's a great feeling, isn't it?

You will love this gun. I picked one up several years ago and it is definitely my favorite revolver. Comfortable to shoot even with heavy loads. The SA on mine is perfect for Target shooting and the DA trigger is smooth as well. It is extremely accurate and definitely a high quality firearm. When I take mine to the range I constantly get inquiries about selling!

NICE!!! Love those earlier S&W revolvers, and that looks like a FINE example.

Definitely prefer the ones with recessed cylinders and blued. Nice Model 27!

Those were some of the finest revolvers S & W made.
