This is the first Beretta pistol that I have ever owned! It has a polished blue fininsh, instead of the Bruniton finish that had come along, close to when this gun was made! It is in like new condition! Upon recently purchasing this Beretta 92(Italian)made in 1990, I contacted Beretta U.S.A. to inquire about this gun? As it turned out, I was told that I had lucked out, in finding what they had called an first "Transitional" Beretta 92F-S! It had two labels on the Italian gun box and the first label indicated that it was an Model 92SB-F and, the second label indicated that it was an Model 92F-S. What this mean't was, that it started out as an 92SB then, it transitioned to an 92SB-F then, from an 92SB-F to an Model 92F-S! Following are some pictures of this Beretta 92F-S:

    Sweet looking pistol!!!

A 92FS will be my next automatic purchase after I get my revolver for outdoors use.

Excellent looking Beretta. I like the grips! Mine still has the original "plastic" ones.
