Finally, got me a Mini14. After a lot of looking, researching and thinking what was best for me, picked this up this evening, and has only been shot a few times. I wanted to plink and be ready for zombies.

Got everything you see here for 625--now for a cold range trip!

Can I touch if I promise to keep my finger outside the trigger guard?
    Looks good. I'm jealous.

How many rounds in the factory mags.
I thought Ruger only sold 5 round mags to the public

Ruger finally gave in to pressure to sell it's 20 round mags to the public about a year ago - when I had my Mini-14 I bought 20 round mags for $50 each...
Nice setup, I hear the newer barrel profiles are supposed to be more accurate.

    edited for horrible spelling....

Very nice! I paid more for a Ruger 5 round magazine, than I did for the 20 round mags... go figure. But the new Mini's are very accurate... mine is minute of bottle cap at 75 yards, plenty for me.
Your new Ruger looks, nice go shoot it and enjoy it!

    Congrats.
I just received my new Mini-14 this week. I went for the laminated stock exclusive from Davidson's. Wish I had gotten that good of deal.

Only shot 15 rounds out of mine so far.

Nice 14, best of luck with it.

Bushmaster, as a resident of the People's Republik of NJ, we get 5-round detachable mags with rifle purchases, even if you buy at, say, a PA gun show.

Nice looking, but does she have the moves? Give us a range report, and try to hold still while you are shivering and shooting at the same time.

Very nice. I like the clean lines. <Insert appropiate line from Clint Eastwood in Grand Torino regarding mods.>
