new vortex products

anyone have any leads on any new scopes from vortex optics? was planning on getting a viper hs 4-16x44 v-plex but looks like that line of scopes is being discontinued and cant find the v-plex version. heard rumor of new hunting line coming from them in 2016 but no details. if anyone can shed some light on the rumor that would be awesome

I'm heading to SHOT with my company in a couple weeks, they'll have everything there. If no one posts some pics and info before me, I'll get some up.
I love vortex products, but what they show at SHOT usually doesn't hit retailers until end of 3rd into 4th quarter.

 

I know stuff.

I'm forbidden from discussing it, but it is unique in the industry. I'd hint at it, but I have a mortgage and a car payment and pets that like to eat.

I really wish they could trim some of the fat off their mid tier products. Almost 18oz for their 1-6x Strike Eagle? No thanks. My Leupold VX3 2.5-8 and my Aero Precision mount COMBINED weigh only 15oz....
