I dont know how I did not run across this board in the past. I know some of you...John l, Tire Iron, Larry....good to see you guys here.

Welcome aboard! Incidentally, I'm going to be in Salt Lake City in a week. I've never been to Utah before, it should be interesting.
 
Riz! What took you so long? :) I told you about THR back when we started. They even made me a mod. Go figure.

We are having a get together out at Strawberry on the 11th and 12th, check the Rallying Point forum for details. There will be lots of Utah folks there.

Well howdy from West Jordan.
There should be two shoots in the Rally Point board, one for a weekday shoot on the 10th and one for a weekend shoot on the 11th/12th.

The culture is a little different. Alchohol laws are way out of whack. Beautiful area, nice downtown. Bring some hiking boots and go up into some of the canyons while you're here.

Another Utahn here, it's the ugly cat from Dugway.
I shoot a LOT of cap and ball revolvers here in the remote desert. Love plinking with the .22 pistols too.
Yep, the liquor laws are whacked --- owing to a certain element that occupies the legislature, or has non-believer legislators in a double nutlock.
At least we have a CCW law.
I hate Jell-O! ... sorry ... just had to get that off my chest ... heh.
Welcome, let us know where your interests lie, shooting and otherwise.
Atc1man is right, buy a good set of hiking boots. And if you plan to explore the desert, carry at least five gallons of water and TWO spare tires.
