Next Bay Area Shoot: polling for dates

Change of plan- we will be in Reno but will be coming back on Friday afternoon.

So despite what Labrat said we are still on...
...unless there is a major blizzard and we can't get back.
...but I have the ski-mobile, snowy roads are not an issue.
...but then there will be nice snow and we might want to ski.
...but Labrat can't ski right now.

I don't know! We should be at LAR&GC on the 26th, I think.

I have a motorcycle, madkiwi can ride on the back and labrat can ride on his shoulders. could be an uncomfortable trip, so maybe you should just come back w/ your own wheels.

2 bad is isnt it TX. i'm not going to be back in Cali (family in San Jose/Cupertino) anytime soon, at least with C3 stuff. i hear it is a pain in the wazoo even for a C3 dealer to bring their wares into Cali. i'd need a demo letter and/or a State DOJ permit from what i understand.

and then i'd have to get a permit to temporarily bring in the hicaps to go with them!
 
Hmm... tornados in South SF. Hope it dries out for the weekend; warm weather may be too much to hope for. :uhoh:
 
man, I should have checked the weather before I rode to work today, getting sucked up into a tornado would probably be hilarious...but deadly.

If its not raining and I can convince the gf that she will enjoy shooting outdoors more than she did shooting indoors then i will be there in the afternoon.
 
WEATHER BE DAMNED! I'm bringing BATTLE rifles! And if they can't take a little rain, well then, they're un-worthy of the name.

I'll leave the prissy Anschutz and the fancy bench stuff at home.
 
Oh yeah! Looks like the weather will cooperate in that respect. Should be very nice.

Ok so here we go:

  • ARs and a goodly amount of .223
  • a whole lots of empty plastic bottles to ventilate
  • Prolly bring the AK
  • and maybe one other bolt rifle
  • plastic knifey spoony stuff, paper plates and paper towels
  • water and sodas in a cooler
  • something for the Q
  • leftover lighter fluid stuff from the LAST bbq and shoot

If someone could grab charcoal that would be a hoot. Do we have any new shooters coming? If so let me know and I'll bring a .22 rifle and/or pistol.

Am I missing anything?
 
Oh well...

I have doctor appointment late in the morning. If my wife does not have any program in the afternoon, I may be able to go later. Otherwise, you all have fun.

Yeah, we'll bring something if we go (most likely). Some burgers and a side of .357 sounds good.

Does anyone have suggestions for us to bring anything else, food or otherwise?
 
Oh, also- we've temporarily misplaced our one and only magazine to the 10/22. We'll bring it anyway, and if someone shows up with a mag that would be great.
 
I might be able to make it. I have a 1919 I would like to bring up does anyone know if they allow tripods?
