A new Stoeger Cougar 8045 has joined my little Beretta family (Beretta Cougar 8045, Beretta PX4 .45). Total impulse buy, I held it in my hand and it was just as nice as my "real" 8045 and I thought "workmanship this nice should be rewarded. I'll buy this on principle, not because it is way awesome...";)

Turkish delight, huh? Be careful you don't fall for the charms of the White Witch.

Do the Stoeger and the Cougar take the same mags?

Yep, same mags. The Stoeger has a steel guide rod too, my Beretta's is plastic.

I love mine, came with 4 mags, shoots incredibly accurate for a shorter barrel

The Stoeger Cougar has one of the smoothest actions I have felt. My only gripe is that I'm not a big fan of its thick grip and DA trigger pull. Though smooth, it seemed a bit too heavy for my taste. Quality pistol though. Completely underrated pistol.
