Nickel finished 2nd Gen. Dragoon

Does anyone know about 2nd gen. Dragoons with serial numbers starting with GC? I am interested in one that has a case-hardened frame and a highly polished nickel finish on the cylinder and barrel.

It is one of the 94 Giuseppe Garabaldi freak dragoons that never got the engraving or gold etching on the barrel and cylinders. The barrel and cylinders were left in the white - not nickel plated. NIB value is around $800.

Thanks for the information about the finish. It really looked like a highly polished nickel finish. It was number 904 from a 1000+ gun collection from an estate that Cabelas had purchased.
