Everybody has seen the Blackhawk ads in SWAT, correct? The ones with lots of clashing colors and special forces-types waving around tarted-up M4s?

I was looking at the NVGs that one of the ninja-models was wearing. Binocular, mounted to the helmet. I'd like to know more about those goggles. Designation, specs, availability/cost, that kind of stuff. Anyone know?

    Thanks,
    Chris

What you saw were not the PVS-7s, don't remember the model right now. They are similar to the NVGs used by military aviators. I was able to use a pair of those a few years ago, 64 line pair per mm, beautiful quality stuff but the price then was about 10,000. The price has come down but they are nowhere near as cheap as the PVS-7s.

No, they weren't PVS-7s. I've used PVS-7s before (64lp/mm model - awesome!) and the ones in the ad have two seperate tubes.

Looking through the ITT website, they might have been AN/PVS-9s or F5050s.
