This seems to be a budget brand that is (I think) made in Japan. Seen them for sale on various websites. For anyone familiar, how's the overall quality?

Have a buddy that has one and really likes it. I personally think there are probably better options, unless you get a very good deal… ymmv
I’ve messed with some, and it seemed to me the quality was a little hit and miss. Good ones aren’t bad at all for the price point, the bad…. Well anyway

I've had 2 Nikko Stirling scopes, and both held up to my 12ft. pound spring air rifle. One was a 6x mount master and the other was a 3-9 air king IM000707.JPG . They don't have a big presence in the US but very popular overseas.

I've got a ridiculous N-S on my 10-22 (9x40 or something?) and it's not bad for a budget scope. It doesn't seem to feel quite as cheap as other cheap scopes, and the glass actually seems half-decent.

It also deals with the recoil of that .22 like a boss. :)

I took the 4x12x40 from the Howa 308 I have and stuck it on a Savage 93 17HMR. From what I've read the older N-S scopes were Japan made but the one I have shows made in China. JMHO if I was looking for a budget scope I'd go Bushnell before N-S.

I've got a buddy that's got half a dozen of them, and loves them. They're all on centerfire rifles; 6.5cm, 7mm-08, etc. and he says they hold true and are very clear. I have one 4-12x50 on my 243, and it's pretty good considering I paid a crisp hundred dollar bill for it. It's surprisingly clear, and holds it's zero. My only gripe is the AO is still stiff after four years of use, besides being not "perfect" at longer distances. Inside 200 yards it's sharp and clear, further and it gets a bit fuzzy.
