Ok, So I just got my Firearms ID card and a store in PA has an SKS paratrooper I want. If I purchase it there, does it have to get sent home to a NJ FFL dealer? Also, I frequent the Valley Forge Gun Show alot, and if I buy something there, does it have to get sent back to NJ? Any help would be appreciated. I checked packing.org, nra-ila.com and all the other sites. I couldnt find anything. Thanks guys.

I'll tell you what I was told when I asked a similar question. Some PA dealers have NJ paperwork available, if so you just do the paperwork and drive home with your rifle. If not, as long as you have the FID, pass the background check and do the Federal forms, it's still no problem assuming your rifle isn't in violation of the NJ assault weapons ban.

What if my brother and I buy a pair of Garands. I live in Virginia and he lives in Jersey. We were going to have it shipped to my house.

Can he just pick the rifle up from me (especially since we are related)? Or does it have to go through a FFL?
