Went out again this evening, I took my 5 year old daughter with me. I had a Coyote charge in bouncing like a deer threw the sage brush, it stopped about 10 yards from me. but all i could see were its ears. it ended up going down wind of me and it was outa there. She got to see it all, it was very cool, afterward I asked her did you see it? She said "DAD WHY DIDNT YOU SHOOOOT IT!!!" it was great!

Early coyote trapping is just 6 weeks away here!! I usually get out and do some calling ahead of time, to try and see where they are travelling. Pretty country you have there. I am envious.

    Thank you sir,

Had to work about 50 miles from home so I made a stop to see if i could call anything in, I seen 1 coyote at about 250 yards, i seen it run between one tree and the other. But i never seen it after that. All in good fun

Looks familiar. I'm just getting into it, they say that all the song dogs in Tooele county are becoming conditioned to city guys who call poorly and miss shots. I'm trying to be ready for the new litters this spring.

Clayne, I am trying snow shoes and a Yukon NVRS this weekend. I got a couple trapping, but have not shot one this season yet.

We have a saying here that says "Your worst day fishing is better than your best day at work!"

Looks like your worst day hunting might fit that saying as well.

    Very pretty country.
