That went from "in stock" to "out of stock" in less than two minutes. When I posted it was there. Look at the the exact time I posted. Price is $19.99 per box of 325, free shipping on 5 or more boxes.

One thing about PSA is that stuff goes in and out of stock in the course of a day or so. I got a screaming deal on an AR kit Black Friday. Showed in, out, then back in stock

i just ordered 5 boxes and it went through with no shipping charge

Ditto Typhun- well, if it doesnt't go thru- No biggie. Ammo is easing up all over as well as powder.

^^ True. I'm finding it pretty much anywhere I look these days, except at Wal-Mart. However, it still runs about 10 percent above 2010 prices.

Back up as 19.99 per box free shipping on 5 boxes. I ordered 5. I like Fed Auto match.

Back to Out of Stock. I see that the price is good through 1/9 so will check back to see if it pops up again. Federal Auto Match is good ammo and it's a decent price with free shipping on 5 boxes.

$20.00 for 325 Federal rimfire? And you guys think that's a good price?
uhhhh, yeah, pretty much.

I bought two boxes of the same stuff for $24.99 each last week and pretty doggone happy to get .22 for .07 cents per round. at $20, I'd buy five for the free shipping in a heartbeat.

My local Academy has the same box for $18.99. Course they keep these behind the counter now and you have to ask for them, but they always seem to have it when I go in. I picked up some last weekend for my 6 yr old to put through the rifle in my avatar.

Yeah. But if you pay 7% sales tax like here, that adds $1.33. We do not have sales tax on Internet.

The free shipping and no tax makes it a deal, at least at this time.

I've been buying my 22lr from Cabelas.com recently. You can find 22lr in stock on their rimfire page pretty regularly now.

I'll have to go back and review a 1040 form and my state income tax form but I believe both have a place to claim purchases that were not taxed at the point of sale.

I have only seen that entry on state taxes here in Ohio.

For me at the moment its either that, or pay $33/box for the same damn thing from the only retailer who's got it in stock locally.
Thank the rimfire gods if you aren't having trouble finding cheap .22lr anymore, because that aint the case everywhere.

It's like the cheapest fares on Southwest and other airlines over the years, mostly in the winter doldrums.
Most of the tickets are much higher, as is most .22 ammo.

Better buy a good reserve of .22LR, .223, 7.62x39, 9mm etc when you can afford it. Nothing prevents the possibility of another panic after a very grim event.

I was getting it locally at Carter's Country and from gun show vendors for this price before before The Election. Not a "buy all I can get" price, but I bought some, its been nice to shoot some .22lr again as I'd been hoarding what I have on hand saving it for my wife to shoot.

From where I sit, $20 for 325 is not a bad deal....especially shipped for free to my house. If you have access to better deals in your neck of the woods....great.

Also, Palmetto has a "contact me when item is back in stock" option. Select that and they will send you an email. I ordered 4 boxes recently, because it took 4 to get free shipping, and had the ammo a few weeks later. PSA is always a bit slow on shipping, but they always come thru.

A local gun shop had a Black Friday deal and my sister dragged me off with her to a store opening by dawn's early light. I ended up buying three 325rd boxes federal .22 LR AutoMatch for 14.95 each. I had a moment of weakness.

Seriously though, with the scalpers and hoarders sated and stuck with their precious, and the new first time .22LR gun buyers stocked up on ammo, the panic shelf clearing on new .22LR shipments is easing off, and .22LR is showing up on shelves and staying awhile.
