No muzzle flash despite vigorous 9mm pistol load?

I use powders to reduce muzzle flash, I find it distracting. But if you want flash, use Power Pistol.

I used the slow motion mode on my iPhone as suggested above, and that captured the shots. Interestingly, the video shows that the ONLY thing visible at the moment of firing is a very pale (almost invisible) narrow cone of grayish smoke. No "flash" at all visible. This is despite the fact that this is a >1300 fps load using 8.0 grains of Vihtavuori 3N38.

I guess 3N38 is TRULY a clean burning powder, despite the fact that both the QuickLOAD and GRT reloading software packages say that only about 70% of the powder has burned by the time the bullet exits the muzzle.

I tried exporting a still frame from the video to post here, but the editing bar in Mac Photos moves an entire second at a time, and by 2:50 the shot has not yet occurred and by 2:51 its gone and only the recoil of the pistol is visible.

That's why I've mostly dumped Power Pistol in favor of BE-86. It's got a pretty effective flash suppressant and generally gives as good or better velocities than Power Pistol in 9mm Luger and .357 Sig.
