until today that is. CCI small rifle at a local big box retailer. Haven’t seen CCI 400 for well over one year. They also had one box of Federal large rifle magnum. Though both were in VERY limited quantity. Limit one brick. Price was about normal at $38 per 1000 brick. Good to see that.

I suspect that the price of ~$38 will be normal going forward.

Might not be doing much loading the next couple years unless you're well stocked. Unless you luck into them at a box store, $100 per 1k is about the best you're gonna see for awhile, with the average a good bit higher.

Can also expect to be $60-$80/lb on powder. Just what it is right now.

Best thing if you have surplus of anything is to swap for what you need. I was real heavy on large rifle and small pistol, light on large pistol and rifle powders, so I did a bunch of horse trading to balance things, much better now with about 16,000 total primers and ~70 lbs powder across the spectrum from 700x to Ramshot Magnum.

those are gunbroker prices. Regular suppliers have been getting things in stock. I just stocked up on powders. Both imr and norma. Most i paid was $35 a pound.

Those are also Armslist and many LGS prices.

As well, most places that are nearer pre-panic prices are limiting quantities.

If you didn't have ample stock, you have basically 2 choices for the near future: Pay the high prices or spend lots of time scouring websites and local stores hoping to get lucky with smaller quantities. There are regional disparities, but for most, unless you have good connections, if you want to get a brick of primers or jug of specific powder right now, that's what you can expect to pay today and for some time to come. It's gonna take awhile for production to catch up and demand to slow down enough for these things to be readily available at somewhat normal prices.

Just got an 8# jug of Titewad for $169 plus the shipping hazmat. Many sites will let you sign up for email alerts and you had better act quickly if you get one.

I have been buying primers but you have to act fast or your buddies have to buy for you and you pay them. The demand and supply game is ridiculous.

Found out a local shop close to me had gotten in SPP, first shipment in a long while. I was going to buy a brick....showed up and would only sell 2 sleeves of 100. Glad I was already close by or that would have been a waste.

That's exactly how it's been here. Lucked out and got 1 brick of CCI 450's 2 days in a row for $45/brick at Scheels last week. They were ~$40/brick before the "shortage" here. Been hit or miss on powders at the couple stores that sell it here, I've gotten a few pounds in the last couple weeks. It seems as tho it's actually becoming available unlike 6 months ago.
