Hey folks, due to some of the recent enfield threads, i've been shooting my nice pieces of history and I was looking at the markings on the receiver and i'm curious. Mine is marked No4 MKI (F). What does this F in parenthasis mean? Anything special? Just an arsenal marking? It does have the flip up diopter site if it means anything. Thanks!
 
Means Fazakerly arsenal. Hope I spelled that right...

Enfield was so busy making Bren guns and .38 revolvers that most No. 4 production was handled by other plants.
