I’ve thought about keeping my gun in the door pocket. I like the idea that I can access my gun without anyone being able to see. I just worry about having it fall out in some parking lot somewhere. I’m probably just being paranoid.


I wonder if anyone makes a holster that is made for a door pocket? Hidden? Secure?
I use the pouch that my Kimber K6 came in. It protects the finish on whatever I'm carrying. It wouldn't work for a 6" revolver, but I can get a Commander in there.

Possible? Yes. Likely? No.
Plus I have this habit of checking that I have everything before I take off (related to my job).

I'm sure they do. What I'll probably do is buy an econo holster and buy some Velcro strips from Walmart or wherever and stick one to the side of the holster and stick one it the inside of the map pocket door. Likely much less expensive.
