Kony - Airweight

Kony, did you see this for sale in VA.
Poster is Skaere. :D

1.) S&W 642 airweight 38+P - think its a 2004 model (has the lock) great pocket or backup pistol. hell with the right ammo its a great summer primary as well! i would rate it at 95% or better. i'd like to see $375 local for it - or trade for an SP101 in 357 - 2.25 or 3'' barrel

Yeah, I've seen it. Actually was dealing for this particular gun months ago but he just stopped responding to my emails. Personally, I think the price is a bit high for used. I think its close to what Berine is asking for a new one. Anyway, I really want a pre-lock one to match my others.

His tacticalness baits:

Shyeah. I should clarify, the penalty for a low shot which knocked down the remaining birds was a disqualification for that round. There were quite a few DQ's from my understanding and one just before I shot

I most humbly apologize! :uhoh:

When I posted that I assumed that the applause was because you were the first to knock them down.

Ever hear the song...

Bubba shot the jukebox?

Well, that's what the guy who shot that stage before me did...

Stopped the match with one shot. Or at least that stage of it. There were quite a few "misses" high in that stage, me included!

The good news is that I can definitely see from a form perspective what I can do to improve. Also, I actually finished 4th in the last stage 'qualifier', which I was surprised at. However, I didn't take it seriously enough by restaging my moon clip holders - I could've done it better, and faster. Next time, I'll have a better reload scheme.

The faster shooters are reloading those "icky", really light rounds that barely recoil. I think that's for pikers.:neener:

That was one thing I noticed. It seemed to me that in IDPA matches the reloads were MUCH faster (even mine). Is that a revolver thing or a practice thing? (no baiting intended here).

I think it's both. I'm about middle of the road for reloading speed. Plus I have not really found the best reload position / technique yet - I think. I'm going to do the next match with my holders setup differently and I'll bet that helps a lot. The 8 shot is more difficult to load by nature than the 6 shot as well.

We sure have a lot of work to do.

First, we haven't even defined what constitutes tactical yet ;)

Now we have to consider 'tactical potential'... We could be at this for a while. It's tough... but somebody HAS to do it :D

FWIW, my submission:

SNUBs are totally tactical. :neener:

Does this mean Counter was born tactical:what: :neener: (hey, Chris started it!)

VA THR SNUBFEST only 3 days away...

A range of ammo has been ordered... due for delivery on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to it!!

Actually, you have a point about it not being too tactical. That's a good reason for me to pass!!

I think someone said SKS :p

That would be me. :)

Speaking of wants ... stopped by the pawn shop today and spied two sweet looking Colts ... a blue Diamondback in 38special and a stainless King Cobra in .357. Gosh, I wish I could afford/justify another .357 right now! :(

I must've misread... because everybody knows that once you have one .357, they multiply... It's not that you can't afford another .357, it's that you can't afford to not have another...and another...and another...

If his Tacticalness comes through... I'm thinking.... V-COMP :D :D :D :D :D

I like the lines on that VEPR, plus it's a short barrel for extra tactical points. I think His Tacticalness may be tempted..;)

That's the one I want but I *DO* want the muzzle brake and *DO NOT* want "... 2 holes drilled in stock with 550 cord run thru for a sling attachment ..."

But I really do thank you KONY that almost made me max out a credit card.:what:
