    Hi guys,

Do any of you have any current 45 ACP data for the Nosler 185gr JHP ? Noslers website is whacked, and Hodgdon uses the Hornady offering in their data.

Looking for some published data with Titegroup if possible. Power Pistol will work too, but TG would be a big help since I have primers loaded, powder measure full and just looking for a charge weight and OAL.

I would assume something in the 5.5 gr or slightly less range. I normally use the Hornady or Montana Gold JHP, or a SWC in 185 and 200, but picked these up at the gunshow over the weekend for cheap still new in the box.

I couldn't resist the price of $10 for 250 still in the shrink wrap :)

    Thanks

    BigSlick

    another person needing data

I also just got a box of Nosler Custom Competition 185 gr .45 caliber (.451), got it for $15.00, and need reload data for this bullett, hopefully in hodgdon powder if possible. This bullet is not listed in the Hodgdon reload book and I hate to buy the Nosler book just for this one box of bullets.

You can use Hodgdon's data for their 185 JHP. Just start in the middle and work up.

I put 8.0 gr of Power Pistol under a 185 gr Nosler HP in Win cases and use Fed LP primers. In my 5" Kimber 45acp velocities run ~940 fps and accuracy is better then the shooter can hold. I don`t remember the OAL off the top of my head, but I believe I am seating to 1.215".

I have used 4.2 gr. VV N-310 and WLP with the 185 gr. Nosler JHP. A very accurate load at ca 800 fps.
