I just bought a hundred for loading in my Sig M400 Ar. Barrel is 16 inches 1:7. I have CCI 400small rifle primers only and H 4895, H335, Varget and Win 748 to choose from. My brass is primarily once fired LC and Hornady. Does anyone have any first hand experience with this bullet and any of these powders?

I have loaded that bullet with Ramshot Tac to max levels, H335 would be my choice of the powders you list. Generally speaking a quality bullet on a cosistant powder charge within the "book starting and max loads" will get good accuracy. Start at the starting load and go from there.

I have first hand experience with that bullet and H4895.

The profile on my RCBS seating stem did not like them.

Anything else ?

Not just me, eh ?

I asked nosler about this, and they all but told me I was crazy.

The bullets work good. On target, and in flight. Not a lot of bonded .224, ya know? But, it should come with a disclaimer, or a seating stem !

Normally the point of the bullet steers it into the seating stem, and concentrically locates it. This does not happen with this bullet. The tip finds the edge of the seating stem, and FUBAR s the whole thing.

Even happens with my precision seater://

I used 24.0 H4895. What did you end up using ?
