Not a Keltec fan, but I might just have to git me one anyways....

Saw this in a GunsAmerica story. I like the idea! :)
Me too. There’s a good thread going here if you haven’t seen it yet.

Keltek seems to excel in doing different things, some very interesting like this is. The only thing that keeps me away is they are uncomfortable to me. Come on, guys, you are working with plastic so you should be able to design comfortable grips. Almost everyone else can.

From the folks that I know that indulge in KelTec, they never have anything but good comments about them.
I had one issue early on with a gen 1 Sub 2000 on the first range trip, but it never happened again. Probably part of the break in period. I hate the trigger of those Gen 1's tho and the ergos are bad, but that's the sacrifice for the design and what it does for not much money.

I'm sure I won't like the trigger on this PR57, but it's not like it can't be mastered and one unable to become proficient with it. At the low recoil this will have, I think most will become good with the PR57 with not much practice.

I’ve been pocket carrying a P3-AT for years and with the right ammo it’s an effective ccw. Ugly? Yep but it works every time and very easy to carry. I’ll take it.

Kel Tec doesn't get nearly the credit they deserve for their role in jump starting the ultra compact autoloader carry gun market. The P11 the P32 paved the way for guns like the Hellcat, LCP and Shield.

Just got a P17; after finding the ammo it likes (which is true for all 22 LR, to be fair) it been reliable and surprisingly accurate. Great fun for $$.

Not sure that it'll be anymore than a fun range gun. Stripper clips for self-defense pistols went out with the C96. ;)

If 5.7 had caught on enough to make ammo prices reasonable, I’d be all over this gun. Wouldn’t be surprised if it marks the faint beginnings of a trend.
