    No pictures of the heart fajitas.

    I prefer locally sourced free range. The deer I shoot are eating off agricultural corn and soybeans. Nothing organic there.

    Had to contribute something more here.

    Just made this tonight. Venison pan fried in butter breaded with flour and Italian bread crumbs. Buttered and roasted potatoes and ho hum frozen sprouts.

    Morels from our woods.
    Mushroom gravy.

    Mrs farmer uses cast iron skillets exclusively. As you can see, the big one is 15" id. She cooks for four big boys every day. It takes a big skillet.
    She took it full of biscuits to bake for sunrise service at our church last year. Some of the old grannies there were in awe.

    Venison 2oz meatballs cut in half,dunked in homemade marinara and topped with mozzarella and romano cheese.

    What's your chili recipe, looks like a Texas style but with beans. My favorite thing to do with venison is grind it and make good hamburger with beef fat and a breakfast sausage with pork. So many things can be made with it ground,

    No beans in my chili ;)

    I have all my ground venison made with bacon fat and smoked.

    My recipe is probably pretty similar to most.

    I like to add a can of Rotell and a couple of bottles of dark beer.
