    I might be a little late bring this up, but I didn't get a chance to see the NRA press conference until now.

    Was it just me, or did you guys think the NRA totally messed up when they blamed the media and video games on gun violence? Personally, I think they should have focused on their existence to promote LEGAL gun rights, point out gaps in enforcement that lead to criminals obtaining guns, and offer examples where firearms were used to stop mass killing. I haven't vetted all the claims made in this article, but it has merit if they're true:

    I didn't agree with the video games/movies part but if it gets the fingers pointing away from our 2A rights I'll take it. The Constitution doesn't guarantee us the right to pay $8 to watch a crappy movie. :)

    Overall I thought the NRA initial position was pretty good. Hopefully they will ramp it up if necessary to avoid a no sunset semi auto/high capacity/private sales ban.
