Ah, this is kind of a pathetic question, but, what exactly is supposed to be put in the 'Issued At' field on a NRA Safety Certificate? (Think this is the best forum section)

My google-fu seems weak tonight, as all I can seem to dig out are completly blank certificates, not even an example form...

If you're not sure the Certificate I mean, here's a link to a picture of one http://elmcitysports.com/NRA_PISTOL_CERTIFICATE_rot_90.jpg

The rest is rather straight forward...just not sure if 'Issued At' should be a range? the address it was conducated at, what?

Sorry for having to ask this here even haha

I was hoping someone here had one and I could get around emailing the NRA haha, ah well, I'll try that now.

Mine all say "NRA Headquarters, Fairfax, VA" so I put down the city where the class took place.

I am an NRA Certified Instructor. The "Issued At" field is where the instructor lists the location where the course was completed.

Heh, I really am starting to think they don't much care WHAT'S put there....after my reply to the thread I did email them and this was the reply "The name of the facility or the name of the range would be fine." I'm thinking they just threw the field in there for no specific reason.

By the way, in case you all were wondering WHY I was asking, my father actually just recently got his certification and will be holding his first course soon, but through all the paperwork and information he got, neither of us could find anything that said what goes there, and he doesn't recall it being mentioned during the course he took to become certified. I haven't taken any courses, and, he hasn't since he got his pistol permit many many years ago, so we had nothing to look at for comparison.
