I vote drive-by.
It is the NY Post, but they got the information from a NRA lawsuit so unless the NRA is lying it's true. That was the first I've heard of NRA TV, but I don't get the Sportsman or Outdoor channel any longer so maybe they're on one of those channels? I'm surprised by this, I would think that the NRA has more members and donations now than they've ever had.
NYPost =/= NYTimes.
The former is a tabloid, the second a well-respected, albeit deeply biased, newspaper
"The report of my death was an exaggeration." - Mark Twain
Whoops, fixed my original post.
The original source is Rolling Stone; hardly an unbiased accretion.
Me, too. Less see, where'd I lay my tin foil hat...
And then back to Liability Insurance and other Financial Services:
All quotes from here
It seems that the author is trying to put too many different things in one article. Frankly, I will wait until I see a better written article on this before deciding if it is time to worry.
Nothing in the scrambled articles says the NRA is broke.
Please don't spread rumors.
Post #13 mostly came from the rolling stone mag. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/nra-financial-trouble-706371/
Hope NRA wins the lawsuit.
Not to be to nit picky, but I do try to cite my posts. When I posted All quotes from here in post #13, what I intended for people to understand was that all of the quoted material, that I had included, came from that source. Further, it was that article that I was commenting on in post #13, not the one in Rolling Stone. At that point I had not read the rolling stone article that you linked to.
Not to go to tangental, but being permitted to cite my posts is part of why I like this forum.
From page 3 of the suit: "The NRA has over 5 million members"
325.7 million folks in the US as of 2017,,,
So, only ~1.6~ % of the population?
Quite interesting, as I had always assumed they had more members than that,,,
