PLEASE FORWARD THE FOLLOWING EMAIL TO YOUR DISTRIBUTION LIST:

Dear RKBA guardian:

Many of you received an email over the weekend notifying you of the
"endorsement" the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund gave to
Representative Jim Kolbe, District 8, by contributing $1000.00 to his
campaign war chest.

This was confirmed by viewing the Federal Election Commission data on their
web site of campaign contributions by Political Action Committees as well as
by verify the accuracy of the data with the NRA/ILA.

Now that the dust has cleared, it looks as though the NRA/ILA will NOT give
Kolbe an official endorsement, but they will NOT give the Graf for Congress
campaign a matching $1000.00 check either.

I explained the possible ramifications of this political decision to a
representative of the NRA, but it appears nothing can be done to undo the
harm caused by ILA's actions.

There are many Representatives and Senators in the Arizona Legislature that will bend over backwards for gun owners. ILA's actions could cause harm to this working relationship.

For example:

When word gets to our Friends in the Legislature that the NRA ILA snubbed
one of their own, what do you think will go through their minds when we go
to them for help in a legislative matter? I know what would be going
through my mind, would you?

I don't ask much of those of you on this list. But we need to make this
right.

I want our Friends in the Arizona Legislature to know we will be there for
them when we need them just as they are there for us when we need them.

Therefore, I ask that you write a check, drop off some cash or use a credit
card on Randy Graf's web site and MAKE A DONATION. No matter how small you
may think it is, EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS. For just $3.00, a mailing can be
made. $50.00 could purchase one radio spot. $300.00 could by an ad.

I think you get the picture.

It is important that we undo the damage the NRA has done to the reputation
of gun owners in Arizona.

If you mail in a donation, the following information is "required" by the
State:

First Name

Last Name

Mailing Address, including zip code

Telephone Number

Employer

Occupation

PLEASE, MAIL YOUR CONTRIBUTION, NO MATTER HOW SMALL, TODAY.

Or, make a donation via the Graf for Congress website at
http://www.graf2004.com using your credit card.

Or, drop by their campaign headquarters and make your donation in person and
say THANK YOU for all Randy has done to promote the rights of every gun
owner in Arizona.

Let's show Randy that we care, even if the NRA doesn't.

Lastly, if you can make the following Graf Town Hall in Sierra Vista (see
below), PLEASE do so. It is important to show he has support from the
grassroots.

PLEASE, PASS THIS EMAIL ALONG TO ANYONE YOU KNOW. DONATIONS MAY COME FROM
JUST ABOUT ANYBODY AND THEY DON'T HAVE TO LIVE IN ARIZONA.

Subject: Graf for Congress message

Dear Friends of Randy Graf,

As you may know, this Wednesday July 28th, 2004, Randy Graf will be holding
a "Substitute Town Hall" meeting in response to Jim Kolbe's refusal to hold
one in Cochise County prior to the September 7th Primary.

We have received inside information that many reporters and television
stations may cover this event. Here's where we need your immediate help.

Please plan on attending this "Substitute Town Hall" meeting with Randy Graf
at the Public Library on 2600 Tacoma Street in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The
event starts at 6:30 pm and runs until 8:30 pm.

This may be one big chance to show the liberal media you are serious about
removing Jim Kolbe. Perhaps the same liberal media elites will stop ignoring
Randy and start paying attention to this important race. Feel free to take
signs and placards.

Please encourage all your friends to attend this rally and show southern
Arizona, WE MEAN BUSINESS!

Jim Coniglio
Campaign Chairman

I was thinking something entirely different.
