Been reading a lot of post lately regarding places for military personnel to shoot. I hate bases that do not have shooting facilities for the servicemembers. Wish rangecontrol would build an indoor range inside their building.
My question is in regards to the hi tech range that was built at the old Naval Training Center in San Diego. Is it still there, who runs it, and is it open to the public?
The last time I was there it was being run by that big, bald, retired SEAL you always see on the Discovery channel. The place had three bays; room clearing, pop up, and standard shooting lanes. Has anyone else shot there?
