Numrich .50 caliber barrel blanks

Do any of you know anything about these:

I have received confirmation that the .50 is in deed a .500 diameter. Is the metal any good though? Any experiences?

Who knows.

It can't be much in the grand scheme of barrel blanks, for $9.40 cents.

I'd guess they are left-overs from some Black Powder company that went under. I doubt I'd trust them to far with smokeless powder.

Also, I see no mention of rifling twist rate, which would be worth knowing.
Could be for round lead balls.

Makes sense, but the .510 barrel blank I got from that same company cost about the same and turned out to be 4140!
When dealing with barrel pressures, it's ideal to know the actual metal grade and/or experiences of people using various loads with them.
