Odd revolver 10 shot

    Can someone tell me what I have? 10 shot has a saftey, double action revolver. Wood grips Does have a 4 digit number on frame .There is a D stamped in places and a 4 on trigger guard and frame

    With the safety on the side plate it is MOST LIKELY of Eurpean origin - perhaps German. Are there any stampings or markings on the barrel rib - check with a magnifier. Not enough info so far for positive ID...is the caliber .22?

    Old guns are intersting. I'm certain others will help out later. I'd just suggest not shooting it.

    Where did you dig that thing up - literally?

    I am making a hammer for it seems to be only thing missing,mainspring is there but no hammer.
